I'm having trouble reading the handwritten caption on this.  The words Camp and 1915 are clear, but is the other word Society?

I thought this might be the old camp off the Coudersport Pike and Benson Road, near the mouth of Wilcox Run, but Uncle Don points out that it appears to be on a mountaintop instead of in a valley.

How many deer did they bag that year?  I count seven, but my eyes aren't what they used to be.

Uncle Don says that Granddad, who was 20 years old in 1915, is in the white circle below.  I could swear he's wearing a bowtie.  Some of his buddies are sporting formal wear, too.  Was this a joke that also explains the name Camp Society?   Don says he thinks so.  What's your theory?
